Botley achieve Chartered Standard Award

Botley Village Youth were reformed in 2003 Botley were originaly called Botley Barracudas and only had three teams, but now some 7 years later we now have 9 teams at under 18 or younger and two mens teams. They have gone from strength to strength by nurturing their youngsters from ages five/six in fun coaching sessions, then forming teams to play in mini soccer in Eastleigh and District mini soccer League and Southampton Tyro League. along with teams in the City of Southampton Youth League. Botley Village have a mens team in the Hmapshire League.and once our U18's finish tyro football they progress into Men's Football with the Botley Senior teams.

In January 2008, we achieved the Charter Standard Award, of which we are very proud. Botley Village Football Club achieved this by implementing all the requirements needed as per Hampshire FA Standards. This meant all managers and coaches are at least level one qualified, with some reaching level two, incorporating First Aid and Child Protection, CRB checks, introducing codes of conduct for all members of the club.

Following on from this they have an administrator keeping all courses updated and ensuring they continue to strive forward.
